Terms of Service
Last updated 14 September 2026 · Governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia
These terms are an agreement between you and Jason Decaux trading as Indrevo (ABN 21 979 134 918) ("Attestor", "we"). By creating an account or using attestor.online you accept them.
1. The service and eligibility
Attestor provides automated forensic examination of digital media and generates reports describing its findings. It is a professional analysis tool provided to verified legal practitioners, licensed investigators, and organisations with a legitimate professional need. You must be at least 18 years old and acting in a professional capacity to use Attestor.
International use. Attestor is operated from Australia and available to professional users worldwide. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of Attestor, and any use of its reports in proceedings, complies with the laws and professional rules of your jurisdiction — including rules on the admissibility of technical evidence and on who may give expert opinion. Nothing in the service constitutes legal advice in any jurisdiction. Where local mandatory consumer law grants you rights that cannot be excluded, those rights prevail over anything inconsistent in these terms.
2. Findings are probabilistic — read this clause
Attestor's outputs are statistical findings, not determinations of fact. A report describes signals detected in a file and the confidence associated with each signal. Absence of detected artefacts is not proof a file is authentic; presence of anomalies is not proof it is fabricated. You are responsible for how findings are used, including whether expert evidence is required in your jurisdiction. Attestor reports are not legal advice and we are not a law firm.
3. Your obligations
- Only upload material you are lawfully entitled to possess and analyse.
- Maintain the confidentiality of your credentials; you are responsible for activity under your account.
- Do not upload material depicting child sexual abuse. Such material is reported to authorities as required by law and the account terminated.
- Do not attempt to reverse-engineer the detection methods, probe the service to defeat detection, or resell access.
4. Fees
Fees are stated in AUD exclusive of GST and billed via Stripe. Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled in the application; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Single-examination fees are payable per report.
5. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these terms excludes rights under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded. Where liability may lawfully be limited, our liability for a failure of the service is limited, at our election, to re-supplying the service or the cost of re-supply.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, or loss arising from reliance on a report's findings in proceedings, and our aggregate liability under these terms is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim arose.
7. Indemnity
You indemnify us against claims arising from material you upload without lawful entitlement or your use of reports in breach of these terms.
8. Data and deletion
Handling of exhibits and personal information is described in the Privacy Policy. You may delete exhibits or your account at any time from within the application.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms. You may close your account at any time; clause 2, 5, 6 and 7 survive termination.
10. Changes and severability
We may update these terms with notice to your account email. If any clause is unenforceable it is severed and the remainder continues. These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
